Stewardship
So often, the perception of stewardship is a church asking for money. But we know that stewardship is so much more. God calls each of us to be good and compassionate stewards of all creation. For this role we each have been blessed with various gifts and talents that we can use in caring for all God’s children and Nature.
As stewards of God’s creation, we have planted gardens in our courtyard. We will share the harvest with the community.
Ways to Serve in Stewardship
Community Care Through Giving
With grateful hearts and willing hands, members came together to pack boxes for families in need. In giving their time and energy, they lived out the true meaning of stewardship sharing God’s love in practical ways that bring hope, dignity, and care to others
Love in Action
Through simple acts of service, our congregation turned compassion into action. By dedicating their time to prepare and pack these boxes, they embodied faithful stewardship reflecting God’s love and extending His provision to families during Thanksgiving.
Serving with Our Gifts
With willing hands and faithful hearts, members use their God-given talents to care for the sanctuary. In this act of repair, their work becomes worship, strengthening the church and honoring God through service
All Ages, One Calling
From the youngest to the oldest, members came together to share the story of Christ’s birth. Through their unique gifts and joyful participation, this moment reflects how every generation can serve God and strengthen the life of the congregation
Many Hands, One Mission
Members of Advent and neighboring churches came together in shared service, reflecting the unity of Christ’s body. In this ecumenical witness, we are reminded that “two are better than one” (Ecclesiastes 4:9), as many hands joined in faith accomplish God’s work with greater strength and joy
