Mission and Outreach
Taking to heart Christ’s words, “…for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing…” (Matthew 25:32), Advent Lutheran Church of LaGrange carries out its mission and outreach by serving the surrounding community with care and responsibility.
The congregation provides meals, clothing, and food assistance to individuals and families facing homelessness, housing instability, and other urgent needs. These efforts are supported primarily by the financial contributions of church members and supplemented through organized fundraising activities. Through this work, Advent Lutheran Church remains committed to serving others with compassion and respect.
