Shepherd of Advent is the pastoral reflection ministry of Advent Lutheran Church, encompassing the weekly Sunday sermon and the pastor’s monthly written reflection on the life of the congregation, its members, and its ministries within and beyond the church community. The purpose of Shepherd of Advent is to provide informed reflection and constructive dialogue on matters concerning the church and its surrounding community, to strengthen congregational unity, encourage active participation, and advance the mission and ministry of Advent Lutheran Church.
