Stewardship

So often, the perception of stewardship is a church asking for money. But we know that stewardship is so much more. God calls each of us to be good and compassionate stewards of all creation. For this role we each have been blessed with various gifts and talents that we can use in caring for all God’s children and Nature.

As stewards of God’s creation, we have planted gardens in our courtyard. We will share the harvest with the community.

Ways to Serve in Stewardship

Community Care Through Giving

Members of the congregation came together to prepare Thanksgiving food boxes, offering both practical support and a message of hope to families in need. Through generous giving and shared effort, the church extended Christ’s love beyond its walls. Each box became a reminder that no one walks alone in times of need.

Stewarding Resources with Purpose

Church members carefully sorted and organized donated items, ensuring that every contribution was used thoughtfully and effectively. This work reflects a shared commitment to faithful stewardship and responsible care for what God has provided. Through these efforts, generosity is transformed into meaningful impact.

Serving Through Simple Acts of Kindness

The congregation prepared blessing bags filled with essential items to support individuals facing hardship in the community. These simple yet powerful acts of care demonstrate how small offerings can carry great compassion. Each bag becomes a visible expression of God’s love in everyday life.

Caring for God’s House

Members offered their time and skills to maintain and care for the church building, ensuring it remains a welcoming space for worship and fellowship. Stewardship extends beyond finances—it includes caring for the environment where ministry happens. Through this work, the church continues to serve both present and future generations.

Sharing Gifts in Community

The congregation gathered for a joyful cook-off event, where members shared their talents, creativity, and hospitality. Such moments foster connection while celebrating the diverse gifts within the church. Through fellowship and generosity, the community is strengthened and renewed.

Hospitality in Action

Volunteers prepared and served meals, creating a welcoming space where people could gather, connect, and be nourished. Offering food becomes more than a task—it becomes a ministry of presence and care. In these shared moments, relationships are deepened and community is built.
