Prayer for the Day
Give me strength that does not depend on my own effort alone, but on your sustaining grace.
Teach me to rest in your care. As I place my trust in you, help me rise with confidence, courage, and renewed purpose. Amen

Merciful and Healing God, we bring before you those who are sick, those who grieve, and all who feel burdened beyond their strength. We entrust them to your tender and unfailing care. You are never distant from suffering; you draw near to the broken in body, mind, and spirit. Wrap them in your compassion. Breathe your healing where there is pain. Speak peace where there is anxiety. Restore hope where hearts are weary. Grant everyone courage for each step and hope for each new day through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
Prayers for Gratitude (Thanksgiving)
Giver of Life, we thank you for the gift of life and for the many blessings that surround us each day. We praise you for sustaining grace, faithful friendships, and the joy of belonging to your people. We give thanks for the blessing of another year of life and love, for the birthdays and wedding anniversaries Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayers for the World
Gracious and Sovereign God, we lift before you our community and the whole world you so dearly love. You are Lord over every nation and ruler, every household and generation. Nothing is beyond your sight or outside your redeeming care. We pray for government leaders at every level, local, national, and global.
Grant them wisdom to govern with justice, courage to choose what is right over what is easy, and humility to seek the good of all people. Guard their hearts from pride and corruption and guide their decisions toward peace and human dignity. Bring an end to wars and violent conflict across the earth. Still the weapons of destruction. Comfort those who mourn. Protect the innocent. Heal lands scarred by hatred and fear. Raise up peacemakers who reflect your reconciling love, Amen
